On the spot where his camel knelt, land bought from two orphans becomes the Prophet’s Mosque. He carries bricks himself. It serves as place of prayer, school and meeting house, with a shelter for the homeless and rooms for his family beside it. The call to prayer (adhan) begins at this time.
