The Prophet’s father dies

‘Abdullah, married to Aminah, dies in Madinah (Yathrib) aged twenty-five. The book gives two reports: his father had sent him there to buy dates, or he died there on his way back from a trade journey to Syria. Most historians place his death before his son is born.
