Visiting Banu an-Nadir to ask for help with a blood-money payment, the Prophet ﷺ learns, according to the book, of a plan to drop a rock on him, and leaves. They are given ten days to leave Madinah; relying on ‘Abdullah bin Ubayy’s promises of help, they refuse, and after a siege of six nights (or fifteen) they depart, many to Khaibar. Surah al-Hashr describes these events.
