At ‘Aqabah near Mina he meets six men from Yathrib (Madinah); the book calls them Khazraj, though it also says two of them were from Aws. Having heard their Jewish neighbours speak of a coming prophet, they accept Islam and return home to spread it; soon hardly a house in Madinah is not talking about him.
